Maybe downsizing just doesn’t sit well with the reality TV star Tamar Braxton– but making a quick buck just might.
The popular personality has put his sleek, modern farmhouse in Sherman Oaks, Calif., on the market for $3,375,000. That’s $900,000 more than she paid for the place just over a year ago.
Braxton purchased the newly remodeled home in September 2020 for $2,475,000. During her tenure as owner, she appears to have done some interior decorating herself.
Inside, there are still six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, and 3,800 square feet of living space, but it’s been decorated with black-and-white wallpaper, matching window treatments, and light fixtures. more sophisticated. Pops of color and a steady stream of black and white stripes can be found throughout, and gold features have been added as well.
Prior to Sherman Oaks, Braxton lived in a 15,000 square foot mansion in Calabasas, California. His grand estate spanned nearly 2 acres and included bells and whistles such as a professional gym, glamorous lounge, home theater, wine cellar, and elevator.
She paid $10.5 million for the home in 2013, but with liens accumulating and a pending divorce, she sold it at a loss in 2018, for $9.25 million.
If the Sherman Oaks residence is a little less ostentatious, it does not lack charm. It is a few blocks north of Ventura Boulevard, within walking distance of a brand new Whole Foods Market and trendy restaurants.

Braxton’s son was playfully housed in a bright blue dorm with a homework station.

There is also a one bedroom cabin which can be used as a guest house, office or recording studio.

Braxton, 44, is the youngest of the famous Braxton sisters, Tony, Trinaand Towanda. She started performing with her siblings in The Braxtons.
