Hamilton man plans to buy a house for his daughter after $1M Lotto win 6-49 – Hamilton

A Hamilton man says he will spend much of his recent $1million lottery win on buying a house for his daughter.

Paul Ferguson just picked up his check at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto after winning a guaranteed $1 million prize in the June 25 Lotto 6-49 draw.

“I was so excited I couldn’t sleep,” he said in the days following his Saturday night victory.

“We’re going to share this with our daughter – we want to buy her a house and enjoy seeing her live a happy life.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart on Binbrook Street.
