GoKwik – an e-commerce enablement company on a mission to revolutionize the D2C e-commerce shopping experience has onboarded Joyeeta Ghosal as its brand marketing manager. Joyeeta is a seasoned integrated marketing professional with over a decade of professional experience in communications strategy, brand development and sustenance. A customer-obsessed, insight-driven storyteller, she believes in results-driven branding and customer-centric product communication.
At GoKwik, Joyeeta will lead the overall brand function and be responsible for building awareness, building trust and establishing thought leadership for the brand as a technology company that is here to solve e-commerce business challenges. and whose mission is to democratize shopping. experience for consumers through its network of merchants. She will also lay the foundations for the brand by establishing the partnerships and teams needed to drive marketing objectives. She also understands the power to build the culture of a workplace and hire the right talent pool and will lead the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) program to help HR and business functions achieve the same goal.
Prior to joining GoKwik, Joyeeta led the marketing and communications function at Home Credit, where she implemented brand guidelines in India, established creative and media agency partners for the brand mandate, deployed marketing campaigns on all channels and also set up marketing processes. within the organization to improve team productivity and efficiency. She was also instrumental in initiating and promoting financial literacy during and after the pandemic to empower and support the underserved segment in India (also their primary target audience who were under huge financial pressure during the pandemic) through the brand platform, “Paise Ki Pathshala”. She has also worked with Vodafone India Pvt Ltd (now Vodafone Idea Ltd) and ABP Group (Anandabazar Patrika Group) where she led brand communications and successfully designed content and engaging campaigns.
