STATEN ISLAND, NY — Pennsylvania’s Hersheypark is less than three hours from Staten Island, offering — in addition to plenty of delicious chocolate goodies — family rides, roller coasters and an impressive water park.
If you’re planning a family adventure in Hershey, why pack the family into a small hotel room when there are plenty of spacious homes available through Vacation Rentals By Owner (VRBO)?
Rentals are available on a daily basis, with some offering private pools or courtyards with fire pits and patios. A few overlook nearby lakes, for a day spent relaxing between park dates.
After a long day of summer heat, riding, and dining, it’s nice to come home to a spacious home, with space and privacy — and you’ll probably save a few bucks, too.
Here’s a sampling of what we found, all within 11 miles of the park and many within two miles.
